In retrospect, this was probably one of the darker moments in Mario history if you were to stop and consider why they need Peach's "innocence" and what Grodus meant by "handled roughly". Although, maybe reading too many Cthulhu stories has caused me to view it that way....
If there is one thing this comic does way better than the original, it is have expressive faces. Grodus in particular had some very nice expressions on this page; you're very good at angling her head to convey her thoughts and emotions.
